He received his bachelor's degree in Finance and Personal Finance from Mankato State University. A well-known champion in the running community, Dustin took part in both high school and Division Two level cross country and track, and will play a key role in Northwestern Mutual's role as a sponsor of the 2009 Gopher to Badger Run taking place on August 8th. Luke Keene began his career with Northwestern Mutual as a financial representative intern in 2007. He was born in Hastings, Minnesota, and grew up on the family farm--a piece of his life that he would always like to take with him. Luke received a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurial Management and Economics from Saint John's University in 2008. An avid wrestler and football player in both high school and part of college, Luke was also Vice Chair of the SJU College Republicans, a board member of the Senior Giving Committee and was inducted into the Economics Honor Society.
Luke met his fiancee, Anne, during his time at SJU and the two currently reside at their home in Woodbury. Luke proudly boasts that Anne is the best part of his life, as they look forward to married life with excitement.
During his Northwestern Mutual internship, Luke was designated as Team Captain and hit the well-respected target of The Power of Ten in 2008. In that same year, he became a full-time financial representative, and obtained the series 6, 63 and 7 securities registrations. In his first year as a full time representative, Luke hit another well-respected goal of Pacesetter 40. Most recently, Luke Keene accepted the role of Associate Financial Representative for Michael Leverty's Hudson Network Office Team.
